Tania and Dean's K2O Adventure through the Kimberleys - starting from Mitchell Plataeu by helicopter and cruising into the milky blue oceans of Cable Beach Broome. Trip dates 17th July 2008 to 24th July 2008. Picture taken from K2O website.

DAY ONE - FLY BROOME TO MITCHELL PLATEAU
-Awake at Cable Beach Club Broome
-Picked up by Liz and fly by small aircraft from Broome Airport to Mitchell Plateau Airport. Transfer to a helicopter and land on Naturaliste Island beach.
-Picked up in tender and shown to our cosy double deluxe room which is downstairs.
-Fresh water swim at Donga Island and visit the Widjina Art which has been painted under the roof of a cave overhang.
-Cruise into Hunter River and moor K2O.
-Fishing for barra in the tenders to a creek called Porosus creek. Catch fresh bait using a throw net by expert, Jay.

DAY TWO - HUNTER RIVER TO PRINCE FREDERICK HARBOUR
-Mudcrabbing down the Hunter River and surrounding creeks
-Scenic tours with tenders through the Upper reaches of the Hynter River
-Arrive at Prince Frederick harbour
-Explore the Mermaid Boab Tree at Careening Bay
-Watch the full moon rising.

DAY THREE - KINGS CASCADE
-Fishing at Rothsay waters, and Prince Reagent River -fish jumping around us everywhere! a barra is caught 65cm and release -unhappy chef!
-Explore Kings Cascade as the boat's bow is dunked under the waterfall
-Explore the Kings Cascade from above the falls a tropical oasis of fresh water.
-Fresh mud crab on the bow of the boat for nibbles time!

DAY FOUR - COMMERSION IS, CAMDEN HARBOUR RUINS
-Tania and Deans 34th Birthday!!!
-Explore the Commersion Islands by foot
-Head to Camden Harbour to explore the ruins of settlements in late 1800's. Visit Sheep Island
-Wilson Point
-Cruise passed the pearling town of Kuri Bay
-Trawling for fish around the Slate Islands
-Bon-fire on the beach at sunset
-Birthday cake!
-Explore the Commersion Islands by foot
-Head to Camden Harbour to explore the ruins of settlements in late 1800's. Visit Sheep Island
-Wilson Point

DAY FIVE- WILSON POINT TO RAFT POINT
-Collect oyster from Wilson Point
-Fish for Mangrove Jack at Deception Bay
-Visit Raft Point and explore the caves
-Marvel at the Wandjina artwork from 4000 years ago.
-Watch from a distance as Dean and Christian go to the "Secret Mens Business Is"
-Feast of 11 and half dozen oysters kilpatrick for nibbles time.
-Fish for Mangrove Jack at Deception Bay
-Visit Raft Point and explore the caves

DAY SIX - MONTGOMERY REEF AND RUBY FALLS
-Explore Montgomery Reef and seen the turtles and fish in the reef rapids.
-Explore the sandbar
-Head to Ruby Falls for a swim and relax with a mud pack!

DAY SEVEN- TALBOT BAY, HORIZONTAL FALLS, YAMPI SOUND AND CAPE LEVEQUE
-Cruise and moor at Talbot Bay
-Exhileration of motoring through the Horizontal Falls
-Cruise past the iron ore mine of Yampi Sound
-Check out the marina of Croc Creek and its many yachts moored there!
-Sunset at Cape Leveque
-Cruise all night for 14 hours to arrive back at Cable Beach Broome for morning departure.
