Cruising down the Hunter River to the "barra" fishing spot in Porosus Creek

Damo's delight, dinner in style - freshly grilled "gold band schnapper" with prosuitto and asparagus on potato mash. Followed by apple crumble. A glass of pink champagne finished the evening off beautifully!

DAY 2 - HUNTER RIVER TO PRINCE FREDERICK HARBOUR

Hunter River

Mudcrabbing in the Hunter River and nearby creek systems, we set out with 10 nets came back with 9!

The crab net floats needed to be tied to the tops of the mangrove trees due to the crocs eating the barra skin baits, therefore moving nets around and to allow for the large tidal movement.

Amazingly large mangrove trees

Still setting the mud crab nets!
